Notifications tell you when a recipient:
- opens an email
- clicks on a link
- views an attachment
- reshares an attachment
- replies to an email
You can turn specific types of notifications on or off. Regardless of these settings, you can always see your notifications under the Top Leads section of the LiveHive sidebar.
Go to the upper left corner and click on the drop down menu under your name that says LiveHive. Click on Notifications.
Click the circle on the right side of each option to turn on or off.
Desktop Notifications: A notification window will pop up on your computer. This is a banner in the upper right corner of your desktop on a Mac, and on the bottom right corner on a PC.
Suppress Notifications for Internal Emails: Do not get notified when your colleagues open emails. This is determined by comparing the domain of your email addresses. Turn this on to not receive notifications when colleagues interact with your emails.
Daily/Weekly Digest: An update on your activity will be sent to your email. The digest shows the number of emails sent, how many attachments were viewed, and how many emails were opened. If this setting is on, then you will receive Daily Digest emails. If this is off, then you will only receive a Weekly Digest email. Here is an example of a Daily Digest:
Email for Open, View, Download, and Reshare: Receive emails when a recipient opens an email, clicks on a link, views or downloads an attachment, and reshares an attachment. A Reshare is done through LiveHive’s attachment viewer. A recipient would need to view an attachment and click Email on the top of the viewer to share the attachment with someone else. If they do this, it is considered a Reshare. If someone were to forward an email including an attachment, this is not able to be tracked. It will be considered another view.

Don’t Save Mail View by Sender: This ensures that when you open an email you sent (or the thread of emails) it will not save your “open” as an analytic or notify you about it.
