Navigate to Pipeline in the sidebar, then click Opportunities.
Click the New button to add a new opportunity.
The New Opportunity window will appear. Note: Opportunity name, Stage, and Close Date are required.
Click on Company to select a company. The Select Company window will appear, and displays all the companies in your organization’s LiveHive. You can search or scroll down to find the company you need. Click on the radio button next to the desired company, then click Select Company.
Click on Contact to choose an existing contact. Search or scroll down to find the contact you need. Click the radio button next to a contact, then click Select Contact.
Type in a name for the new Opportunity, and a Total amount. To assign a probability, click the Probability drop-down menu, and choose from the list.
To assign a stage, click on the Stage drop-down menu. By default, there are ten opportunity stages. A LiveHive MasterAdmin user can add custom stages in the Admin settings.
Designate a Close Date by selecting a month, day, and year, from the corresponding drop-down menus.
Lastly, type in the Source of the opportunity. How did you originally get in contact with the lead? When you’re finished, click the Save Opportunity button.
The new opportunity that you created will be shown under the column Closed, Converting, Qualifying, or Prospecting depending on what stage the new opportunity is set to. As the stage is adjusted over time, the opportunity will move to different columns. In the example below, the opportunity's stage is Perception Analysis, which falls under the Converting category. Note: A LiveHive MasterAdmin user can manually decide which stages map to each category. A MasterAdmin can also create custom stages.
