There are many ways to send emails with LiveHive. Compose allows you to send one off emails. You can write up an email on the fly, or use an existing template.
Navigate to Email in the left sidebar and click Compose.
In the Email Composer, you can begin writing your email, or click the Template button to choose an existing template. Your signature will already be in the body of the email.
If you do click Template, the Add Template window will appear. Here you will see all the email template folders in your company's LiveHive. Expand a folder by clicking the arrow next to the title of a folder. Click the radio button next to the template you want to use. Click Select Template at the bottom of the window to insert the selected template into the Email Composer.
The selected template will now show in the Email Composer.
In the To field, start typing in the email address you want to send an email to. If they are a contact in LiveHive, then the email will drop-down as an autofill option after typing a few letters. Click the email to add it to the To field, if applicable. If you want to send to multiple people, then separate the emails with commas.
To the right of the To field, there are buttons for CC and BCC. Click CC to have a CC field appear, and click BCC to show a BCC field.
Note: if you include a CC or BCC, then your notifications will show the email in the To field and 1 other recipient opened your email. In order to be notified of each individual person that interacts with your email, do not include a CC or BCC.
Even if you're using a template, you can still make any changes you want to the email. Attach a file, change the text, add an image or link. To attach a file, click the Attach button and choose From Computer to select a file on your computer, or From Cloud to select a file from a cloud service.
See below for more details on using the format bar.
When you're ready to send the email, click the Send Now button.
To see the email that was just sent, go to Recent Emails.
