The LiveHive Chrome extension makes integration with Gmail, Outlook, Salesforce, and Microsoft Dynamics possible. If you do not use Chrome with the extension, you can only utilize LiveHive within the LiveHive platform.
WHAT CAN IT DO?
• Quickly access Notifications
• Find new contacts using LiveClip
• View Recent Emails
• Open your Top Leads
• Send an email
• Launch LiveFeed
Once you've downloaded the LiveHive Chrome Extension, you'll see the LiveHive logo in your Chrome toolbar. Click on the logo to immediately see your latest notifications
When you have an unread notification, a red number will appear on top of the LiveHive logo in the Chrome toolbar.
There are three tabs in the extension window: Notifications, LiveClip, and Recent Emails.
When you have an unread notification, a red number will appear on top of the LiveHive logo in the Chrome toolbar. Clicking the extension will always open to Notifications.
Clicking the extension will always open to Notifications. You can see the date and time, the type of action, the recipient's email address, and the email subject.
In Notifications, there are many icons indicating the action taken by a recipient. The Action column shows you how the recipient engaged with your email. There is an icon and text describing the action.
See below for an explanation of each icon:
Note: if you ever forget what an icon means, you can position your cursor over an icon, and a tool tip will appear and tell you what it means.
LiveClip allows the user to find new prospects. Using Google Chrome, go to a company website where you want to find contact information of employees. In the Google Chrome toolbar, click on the LiveHive extension icon then click the LiveClip tab in the extension window. In the example below, the current website displayed in Chrome is google.com. LiveClip is automatically listing employees at Google.
You can import one contact at a time by clicking on the green Save button to the right of each person.
You can also select multiple people and save them to LiveHive contacts. Click the checkbox next to each person to select multiple people. As soon as you click a checkbox, the yellow buttons at the top illuminate. The first yellow button allows you to add people to a group, and the plus sign button lets you add them to a new group.
Note: anyone added using LiveClip will include their photo and social media information (if available).
Whenever you navigate to a different website, LiveClip will automatically update to show employees at the associated company. If you click outside of the LiveHive extension window, it will close on its own.
The amount of information provided by LiveClip is dependent on the information provided in LiveHive's database partners. If LiveClip displays “LiveClip did not find any leads. Actions are disabled.” this means that particular company has not supplied any information to the database.
Recent Emails Tab
Click on the Recent Emails tab to view the most recent emails you've sent. The recipient's email address, the subject line, and date and time of the sent email are displayed. Click on a subject line to view an email.
To see a different amount, click the drop-down menu to view the most recent 25, 100, or 250 instead of the default of 50.
To see activity associated with an email, click the orange arrow. If the recipient has not interacted with your email yet, the only action you'll see is that the email was sent.
