At the top of a call task, you can see the contact's name, title, company, and phone number. There are two drop-down menus in the phone field. Click on the flag to change the country code. Scroll down to see all of the options.
If you have more than one phone number for a contact, click on the phone number to see the other number. You can click on the second number to dial that number instead.
To place a call, click the call button. To mute yourself during the call, click Mute.
The third button down displays the status of the call.
Possible call statuses:
Drop a Recorded Voicemail
If you want to use voicemail drop, click on the Select Voicemail drop-down menu, and select the recorded voicemail that's applicable to the call you're making. You may need to scroll down within the dialer window to see all your recorded voicemails. This way it's ready to drop if you reach voicemail. Learn more about Recording Voicemail.
As soon as you hear the person's voicemail, click drop. You do not need to wait for the beep!
Disposition and Sentiment
After the call, you can select an appropriate disposition and sentiment for the call. Scroll down to see all the available options.
If you reach a busy signal, for example, you'd select Busy as the disposition, then click the Log Call button. This will keep the call task in your tasks, so you know to go back and try again later.
For example, let's say the call goes well and you schedule a demo. You'd choose Connected for Disposition, and Demo Scheduled for Sentiment. You can also write in some notes in the notes field, then click Complete Call. This changes the call task's status to Complete. The next scheduled task will automatically be selected.
If you don't reach the contact, let's say there's a busy signal, you would choose Busy for the disposition, then click Log Call. Log Call keeps the task's status as scheduled and remains in your tasks. You could also click Reschedule to schedule the call task for another date and time.
