To track an attachment, you must click the yellow Track Attachments button at the bottom of the New Email window. LiveHive will convert the attachment to a link so it can be tracked.
Note: If you click the normal Outlook attachment icon, then the attachment will not be tracked by LiveHive.
Once you click Track Attachments, a small Capture More Leads window will appear.
If you select “Yes”, then if the recipient chooses to share your attachment with other people, those new recipients will be prompted to enter their email address before viewing the attachment. This is the only way you will be able to see who else viewed your attachment besides the original recipient. Nothing is tracked if the recipient simply forwards your email. The recipient must email the attachment to other people through the attachment viewer. If you select “No”, then no one will be asked for their email address before viewing an attachment.
You may choose to have this box pop-up every time you attach a file or you can choose “Yes” or “No” and check the box “Remember Choice for All Attachments” to not see this box again.
After making your choice and clicking Attach, navigate to the file on your computer that you want to attach. Select a file, then click Open.
The file is now attached! When you're done writing the email, click Send.
You will receive notifications if a recipient views, downloads, shares, or prints your attachment.
Note: The options to download, print, and share (Email) are located on the top of the LiveHive viewer.
