We have recently updated our administrative settings on how LiveHive generated data is synced into leads, contacts and opportunities within Salesforce. You now have much better control over how this data is synced. Login to www.livehive.com
- Click on Admin tab.
- Go to Default Settings.
- Scroll down to the Salesforce section
Use this section to decide what kind of records you want LiveHive to update. You can choose one or more options here.
- If you choose Lead, then LiveHive will look for a lead record in Salesforce.com that matches with the email id of the LiveHive activity being synced.
- If you choose Contact, then LiveHive will look for a contact record in Salesforce.com that matches with the email id of the LiveHive activity being synced.
- If you choose Opportunity, then LiveHive will sync an Opportunity record whose email id matches with the email id of the LiveHive activity being synced.
If no matching record is found in Salesforce you can decide whether you want LiveHive to create a new lead or contact record and sync the data with the newly created record or you can choose to do nothing.
If multiple records are found in Salesforce you can choose which record to update by selecting either “Last updated” or “Oldest”.
When you select Update Unsubscribes from LiveHive this will unsubscribe in Salesforce as well.
Be sure to "REFRESH" the page after updating selections
